Enskede-Årsta-Vantör District Administration is located in Johanneshov, just a few minutes' walk from good communications at Globen.
As an administrative assistant, you will be an important part of the area of Work and Support, which is part of the department for Individuals and Families. The area is responsible for processing financial assistance and for supporting individuals towards self-sufficiency through labor market initiatives and collaboration with other actors. As part of the transition to the new social services act, the area is actively working to develop and adapt its operations. This may eventually involve changes in work methods, processes, and organization. As an administrative assistant, you will be part of an experienced and dedicated unit that currently consists of nine employees, of which five are administrative assistants. Here, you will be part of a collaborative workgroup that values joint results, quality, and a good working climate.
We are now looking for an administrative assistant because one of our employees is going on parental leave. The position is a temporary assignment that extends from April 2026 for about a year.

Your role
As an administrative assistant, you have a central role in the area's administrative work and actively contribute to ensuring that operations run smoothly and correctly. You will be placed in the Unit for Support and Development and be part of our administrative group. In the group, each person has their own areas of responsibility while collectively taking joint responsibility for the area's daily administrative tasks. You will work both independently within your areas of responsibility and together with colleagues to ensure high quality, good service, and effective administrative processes.
Your main tasks include:
- Responsible for mail handling and registration of incoming documents
- Ensure correct archiving and document management
- Handle personnel administrative tasks
- Work with invoice management and financial administration
- Conduct reconciliations of decisions and administrative documents
- Process own funding initiatives and recover reimbursements from other authorities
- Collaborate daily with social workers, managers, and other functions within the area

For you, it is important to ensure high quality in your work while being able to shift between detail and overall perspectives. Your ability to keep the big picture in mind helps you identify what is most critical at the moment and assists you in prioritizing tasks. We are looking for someone who is stable, positive, and maintains engagement even during peak workloads. It is important to us that you enjoy working in a service-oriented manner, where you can easily collaborate with different people and functions within the organization. You do this through clear communication and a willingness to drive your own areas of responsibility towards goals.
Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- Completed secondary education, preferably with a focus on economics and/or administration.
- Relevant previous work experience in administrative work that the employer assesses as equivalent
- Good computer and system skills, for example from having previously worked in financial or case management systems
- Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have:
- Previous experience in administrative work within social services, the public sector, or another authority
- Previous experience or knowledge from working with handling public documents and confidential information
- Knowledge or experience with Agresso or similar financial systems
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and your commitment to the position.

Enskede Årsta Vantör is one of 11 district administrations in the City of Stockholm. As part of the City of Stockholm, the administration offers preschool and leisure, care for the elderly and disabled, social services, preventive and safety-promoting work, urban development, and park maintenance to our 105,000 Stockholm residents living in the district. We face exciting challenges as the Enskede Årsta Vantör district grows and entirely new neighborhoods are built. Approximately 18,000 new apartments are planned by 2030.
