Steg till Arbete (STA) is a valuable and qualitative service procured by the Swedish Public Employment Service with the ultimate goal of identifying resources and support needs in a cohesive process, as well as strengthening and developing participants with the aim of starting a job or education.

The target group is outside the labor market for various reasons and needs tailored job preparation measures to achieve self-sufficiency.

We are now looking for you to take on the role of Employment Consultant and who is attracted by the idea of being part of building this service from the ground up in the location where you are active.

Your main task will be to ensure that participants in the assignment increase their activity level and thus achieve the goal of the service to approach a job or education.

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and planning work with participants
• Conducting skills mapping where the participant's skills, conditions, and interests related to the labor market will be made visible
• Providing support during activity execution
• Coaching and supporting in the assignment and on real workplaces
• Varying activities and support based on participants' needs, focusing on their background, conditions, and needs related to their target profession
• Through lectures and individual conversations, going through various self-empowerment areas
• Responsible for follow-ups at participants' work trial locations
• Responsible for ensuring that the jointly set goals after each part of the service are followed up and documented
• Collaboration with colleagues such as licensed occupational therapists, study and career counselors, and language support
• Collaboration and dialogue with the Public Employment Service at the local level

To succeed in your assignment, we believe that you need to have a broad experience regarding the above areas and have access to a solid toolbox from which to draw knowledge and working methods.

You are responsible for our reporting to the customer, which is why a strong aptitude for documentation will facilitate your work. The assignment involves many contacts within and outside the organization, so you need to easily create trusting relationships with people.

At Jobfind, we work in teams, and in the role of Employment Consultant, you will work together with licensed occupational therapists to ensure that we conduct a delivery we are proud of through our internal processes, and you are part of the ongoing development work.

Basic Competence Requirements

• At least 2 years of full-time university or higher vocational education in sociology, behavioral science, pedagogy, or medicine
• 1 year of experience at least part-time in individual or group guidance/coaching of individuals with mental or physical health issues or disabilities in the last 3 years.

Experience from the service is meritorious.

Employment Conditions

• Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period
• Part-time/full-time according to agreement
• Individual salary setting
