About our client Our client is a medium-sized law firm specializing in business law. They always assist their clients with great commitment and have also been awarded the title of Law Firm of the Year multiple times. In the finance department, you belong to a team of three people, and contact/collaboration with other departments also occurs.

About the Role In the role of accounting assistant, you will manage and be responsible for the payroll administration of approximately 50 employees and answer any payroll-related questions. You will also work with accounts payable, expense reporting, and cards, as well as assist with reconciliation work, bookkeeping, and other finance-related ad hoc tasks. The role also offers good development opportunities for those who are curious! You will be based at their office in central Stockholm with working hours from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with the possibility of flexibility and some hybrid work.

Responsibilities:

• Administer the payroll process
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and ensure that questions are handled quickly and professionally
• Manage accounts payable and bookkeeping of expenses/cards
• Participate in reconciliation work and other bookkeeping
• Other financial ad hoc tasks that may arise in daily work

Who are you? We are looking for someone who at least has a high school diploma in finance; additional financial education is a plus. To be considered for the position, you need several years of experience in similar tasks, and it is important that you feel confident in the payroll process. You have an interest in systems and speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English.

As a person, you are service-oriented and communicative, with a good ability to work in a structured, accurate, and efficient manner. You are honest, proactive, and have a keen eye for detail. Additionally, you value good collaboration, have a humble attitude, and are not afraid to take initiative or solve problems.

Requirements:

• At least a high school diploma in finance
• Very good knowledge of payroll administration and accounts payable
• Excellent skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Preferred:

• Post-secondary education in finance
• Experience from a law firm
• Experience with the systems Findity and Kontek payroll
