About the Organization

The Sustainability Department is part of the municipal executive office and is part of the office for growth and sustainability.

The office is responsible for several city-wide strategic processes such as the comprehensive plan, land and exploitation, business development, social and ecological sustainability, as well as safety and security issues.

Job Responsibilities

As a process leader in the municipal executive office, you have a strategic role with the responsibility to drive and coordinate Trollhättan City's transition work within climate. The assignment involves change management to communicatively and strategically lead and engage departments and municipal companies in Trollhättan City in the climate transition. The work is carried out in accordance with the goals outlined in the city's climate transition plan "Climate Roadmap".

The assignment includes establishing conditions and structures to both test and implement the measures needed to reduce climate impact. At a high level, you are responsible for defining current situations, formulating and communicating transition steps, and motivating the organization's employees and managers at various levels to implement changes. You create internal and external processes that help the organization take the necessary steps across departmental boundaries and find common sustainable solutions.

You are responsible for leading a transition team with competencies in statistics, analysis, communication, digitalization, and innovation. You also lead cross-sectoral working groups with employees from departments, municipal companies, and other external organizations. For this assignment, you will have close contact with both political leadership and administrative management.

You report to the sustainability manager and are part of the office for Growth and Sustainability in the Municipal Executive Office.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree and substantial experience in process management with a focus on change management. You have experience and are confident in leading work and management groups in change and goal-oriented processes. You are accustomed to handling complex systems and strategic assignments. When necessary, you manage tensions at the operational level and within groups. You have experience in a politically governed organization and in handling political matters. You are used to working strategically at the management level and have good analytical skills.

Experience in working with behavior change and methods for effect logic is a merit. Personal qualities are highly valued.
