SiS Youth Home Gudhemsgården

SiS Youth Home Gudhemsgården receives non-compulsory school-age boys with psychosocial issues, criminality, and substance abuse. SiS Youth Home Gudhemsgården is a newly started operation that currently consists of four departments but will expand to five departments in the coming year, totaling 33 places.

Job Description

As a treatment secretary (summer substitute) at SiS Youth Home Gudhemsgården, you will have a varied and exciting job. As a treatment secretary, you are responsible for documentation and treatment planning in consultation with the youth, social services, and other functions in the treatment team, such as psychologists, nurses, etc. In this role, you are expected to manage planning, contact with internal and external stakeholders to drive the youth's cases towards an independent life after placement. You will also plan and lead the institution's treatment collegium and guide treatment staff towards care and treatment goals in daily work. This places high demands on independence, the ability to prioritize, and drive processes forward. The position involves teamwork with other functions such as psychologists, teachers, treatment educators, etc.

Qualifications

The work places high demands on personal suitability, especially regarding interaction. You should have a genuine interest in treatment work, a solid positive view of people, and the ability to meet individuals in vulnerable situations while maintaining a high level of safety awareness. You must be flexible and prioritize tasks as the operations can change rapidly. Furthermore, you need to have the ability to work both independently and in a group.

• Relevant academic education as a social worker or other behavioral science education deemed equivalent by the employer, comprising at least 180 credits.
• Documented experience of independent planning work and, if possible, leadership experience to implement planned interventions together with other professional groups.
• Experience working with youth and/or institutional care is an advantage, as well as training in structured risk and needs assessment instruments.

Meritorious:

• Previous work in compulsory care, investigation, and authority exercise.
• Experience in leading staff and processes.
• Knowledge of legislation within SoL and school operations.
• Experience collaborating with various authorities.

The position is a fixed-term employment, with start date according to agreement.
