Description

We are now looking for 3 driven social workers for our unit at Adult LSS in Southwest.

2 social workers for permanent positions and 1 social worker for a parental leave substitute.

We are looking for you! An engaged social worker who wants to contribute with drive, curiosity, and commitment in working with our target group, adults with disabilities, and who wants to be part of a wonderful team focused on quality and development.

The position involves following up and investigating interventions according to LSS and SoL.

You will be part of a competent and welcoming team of 14 social workers, two senior social workers, and a unit manager. We are located in pleasant and spacious premises at Järnbrotts Prästväg 2, with the possibility of shared or private offices.

As a social worker with us, you will work according to current legislation to inform, investigate, assess, make decisions, and follow up on interventions. The work involves authority exercise and requires legal certainty, equal assessments, and a professional approach. With your knowledge and ability to adapt communication, you contribute to ensuring that individuals receive the support they need to live as independently as possible. Since the work can be complex at times, you need to have good analytical skills, be able to plan your work, and focus on completing what you have started. With us, you will receive continuous support in your introduction and ongoing development through the unit's two experienced senior social workers both individually and in groups, through your colleagues in the unit, and through the administration's 2.5-year internal training program, Competence Ladder. You will also have access to regular external process supervision.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a social worker or have another equivalent higher education. Since the position involves administrative work and issuing, for example, service statements, you need to have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. To work with authority exercise, you must have completed at least 7.5 credits in social law.

You are well acquainted with processing according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). We prefer that you have experience in authority exercise with investigations, assessments, and implementation of decisions. If you have previous experience with documentation in the operational systems IBIC/Treserva/SAMSA, it is considered an advantage for the position.

You work independently and in a group. You are calm and secure even in pressured situations and are used to using your analytical skills to quickly understand issues and make well-founded decisions. You can convey both favorable and uncomfortable messages in a professional manner. You plan and organize your work efficiently, complete tasks on time, and follow up on results.
