Job Responsibilities
Sweden's largest administration for support to individuals with disabilities is looking for someone who wants to make a difference for those we are here for! Do you want to work to strengthen individual rights, contribute to legal certainty, and ensure safe and quality-assured services together with us?
We are strengthening our systematic quality work and are now looking for a SAS.
With us, you will be part of a well-functioning team with seven other dedicated and knowledgeable SAS colleagues. In your role as SAS, you will review the administration's operations and contribute to ensuring that the operations comply with laws, regulations, and decisions, as well as propose improvements when quality needs to be strengthened. Your main task is to investigate and assess lex Sarah reports. In cases of serious misconduct, you will also be responsible for reporting to the Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO). Within this framework, you will prepare decision-making documents and present the case in the board.
You will support the operations in systematic quality work, analyze, and contribute to the improvement work of the operations. SAS also conducts introductions and training on issues related to lex Sarah.
You will participate in management groups as needed and collaborate with managers and other key individuals, as well as participate in various forums to develop and ensure quality in the operations.
The position is placed within the quality and support unit. Within the unit, we have gathered issues related to quality, boards, law, registration, and archives. We have a welcoming and pleasant workplace at Selma Lagerlöfs Square with an activity-based working method. We offer flexible working hours and workplace, and strive for a balance between work and leisure. This means a certain freedom, but also places demands on responsibility for each employee. We have clear leadership based on the City of Gothenburg's approach; we know our mission and who we are here for, we care, we work together, and we think innovatively!
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who meets one of these two criteria:
- Degree in social work with several years of experience from one or more areas of social services according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS).
- Other relevant higher education degree, likely in social work or behavioral science, combined with several years of experience in the disability field.
You should also have several years of experience in qualified investigative work and leading others. You are well-versed in the legislation governing operations within social services, preferably within the disability area.
Furthermore, it is considered an advantage if you have previously worked as a SAS or in a role where you have exercised supervision and review, preferably with experience in investigations according to lex Sarah. It is also advantageous if you have worked as a manager or in another leadership position and have experience in systematic improvement work.
You can effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and propose possible solutions. You have a good ability to see connections, can draw logical conclusions from limited information, and understand how underlying causes can affect outcomes. You also find it easy to explain and convey your analyses and investigations to various recipients both verbally and in writing.
You take independent responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward. You can work at a fast pace when needed without compromising quality, and you enjoy working with both routine and more in-depth tasks. Collaborating and contributing to a good work environment and developing respectful relationships is natural for you.
As a person, you are calm, secure, and professional in pressured situations and have both the courage and ability to make your own decisions within the framework of your assignment.
