Description

We are looking for two dedicated Family Home Secretaries for our emergency group at the Family Home Operations Hisingen! Are you a trained social worker with experience in social investigation work and curious about family home care? Then this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for!

The Family Home Operations Hisingen consists of two units, where the emergency group with six family home secretaries belongs to one of the units.

We have close access to both the unit manager and the first social worker who have extensive knowledge and experience in family home care.

Responsibilities

To take turns with your colleagues in handling urgent requests for emergency placements. The group works according to a rotating schedule with weekly first and second emergency duties, which means that during these weeks you have increased readiness to receive emergency requests and to accompany emergency placements. The remaining weeks are more flexible, allowing you to schedule home visits, follow-up meetings, etc.

Investigate and assess new emergency homes together with a colleague. Investigating emergency homes requires a good ability to analyze strengths and challenges of those we are investigating.

The emergency group has a particularly important responsibility to ensure that our emergency homes receive the support and guidance they need to perform their tasks in the best way.

Collaborate with partners and document cases.

Working in the emergency group is a fun and varied job that offers great opportunities for development and participation. We bounce ideas off each other and strive to be a strong team. Qualifications

Requirements:
Degree in social work
Good computer skills
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Driver's license

Meritorious:
Experience working within Family Home Care or Child and Youth Authority
Kälvesten and/or training for family home supervisors

The Social Administration Hisingen is part of the social services in the City of Gothenburg. We are one of four social administrations. We work purposefully to create a better everyday life for the residents of Hisingen.
