Description

We are looking for a 1st Social Worker responsible for our recruitment and investigation group within the Foster Care Operations in Hisingen.

The recruitment and investigation group's tasks include recruiting, matching, and investigating foster homes that receive placed children according to SoL and LVU.

Responsibilities

In your role as a 1st social worker, you will methodically guide employees in their daily work, distribute cases, read investigations, and assist in prioritizing tasks. You will also introduce new employees, conduct statistical follow-ups, and implement new working methods. You will collaborate with other 1st social workers in the unit and within the Hisingen social administration, as well as other supervisors within the foster care units in the city of Gothenburg.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and at least 4 years of experience in foster care or within child and youth authorities. Training in the Kälvesten model is a requirement. Other training related to supervision of contractors, such as ICDP, is an advantage.
