Do you want a meaningful job where you truly make a difference? We are now looking for a reliable and engaged personal assistant for a 30-year-old man who lives close to nature in his own cabin on his parents' farm in Alingsås. Here you will find sheep, a dog, and a cat – a calm environment for those who appreciate being close to nature.

A driver's license and access to a car are required as the residence is a bit far from public transport. Driving is also part of the job.

About the assignment

The man lives with autism and epilepsy and needs support in his daily life. During weekdays, he attends a daily activity program from 09:00 to 15:00.

In his free time, he enjoys participating in cooking, engaging in planned activities, and having a daily routine with clear structure. Weekends are often spent outdoors, taking walks or having coffee with his assistant.

Who are you?

You are reliable, self-sufficient, and take initiative. We prefer that you are an active person with a genuine interest in cooking, as you will be cooking together during your shifts.

The job requires you to be structured and comfortable with clear pedagogical methods and fixed routines.

Requirements:

Driver's license and access to a car

Meritorious:

Experience with autism.

About the position

Temporary employment for as long as the assignment lasts, approximately 60% with varying working hours. Weekday shifts are usually from 15:15 to 08:55 or 15:15 to 21:15. Weekend shifts can be from 09:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 09:00, or full-day shifts.

Other:

God Assistans cares for its assistants, has a collective agreement, and offers wellness grants of up to 4000:- /year.

Documents proving the right to work in Sweden must be presented at any interview:

- A Swedish citizen is verified, for example, with a passport or a personal certificate from the Tax Agency.

- EU/EES citizens also have the right to work in Sweden. Citizenship is verified, for example, with a passport or residence card.

- Third-country nationals (outside EU/EES) prove their right to work in Sweden with a decision from the Migration Agency, a residence permit card (both front and back) or an LMA card.
