The group home is beautifully situated in a smaller residential area just a few minutes from Kungsportens shopping center, which includes grocery stores, pharmacies, and a health center.Billdal group home offers accommodation for 6 individuals belonging to group 1 according to LSS.

The group home is built on one level with modern apartments featuring open floor plans and private patios. The spacious common areas provide opportunities for social interaction and joint activities for those who wish.

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in daily life. You will assist the users in their daily routines and activities based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clear pedagogical principles and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization.

You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner, enjoying working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

• Excellent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Good computer skills, experience with documentation.

• Experience in healthcare and social care.

• High school education such as child and leisure program, health and social care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.

• Worked with complex support needs.

Employment Type: Special fixed-term employment Working Hours: Varying Work Schedule: Weekdays/evenings/weekends and sleeping on-call.
