Do you want to work extra in a job where your contribution really matters? We are now looking for a part-time personal assistant for a 30-year-old man living in his own cottage on his parents' farm in Alingsås, surrounded by animals and nature.

A driver's license and access to a car are required as the residence is outside public transport. Driving is part of the job.

About the assignment

The man lives with autism and epilepsy and needs support in his daily life. On weekdays, he attends a daily activity from 09:00 to 15:00, and afterwards, he enjoys participating in activities or cooking – a great interest of his.

Weekends are often quieter and spent outdoors with walks or coffee breaks.

Who are we looking for?

You are secure, responsible, and can work independently. We prefer that you are active, structured, and enjoy planning and carrying out activities.

Experience with autism and epilepsy is an advantage but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you can create a sense of security, have a calm demeanor, and can work with clear routines and structure.

We are looking for someone who is engaged and wants to build a good relationship while contributing to a stable and meaningful everyday life.

About the position

Working hours vary, but weekday shifts are usually from 15:15 to 08:55 or 15:15 to 21:15. Weekend shifts can be from 09:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 09:00, or full-day shifts.

The work mainly involves evening and night shifts with elements of waiting time. In the morning, the man takes a taxi to his daily activity.

We prefer that you are flexible and can work extra as needed.

Other:

God Assistans cares for its assistants, has a collective agreement, and offers a wellness allowance of up to 4000 SEK/year.

Documents proving the right to work in Sweden must be presented at any interview:

- A Swedish citizen can be verified with a passport or a personal certificate from the Tax Agency.

- EU/EES citizens also have the right to work in Sweden. Citizenship can be verified with a passport or residence card.

- Third-country citizens (outside EU/EES) prove their right to work in Sweden with a decision from the Migration Agency, a residence permit card (both front and back) or an LMA card.
