Rapid Dimension is an innovative tech startup that develops the next generation of 3D printers and creates the future's sustainable and robust supply chains within the industry. Through advanced additive manufacturing, they digitize physical components and build digital libraries that enable companies to produce spare parts and components smarter, faster, and more sustainably. The company was founded with a clear vision to offer larger companies a comprehensive concept – from digital drawing to finished product – and is currently in an exciting growth phase with new launches and expansion underway. They are now looking for more driven individuals who want to help take the technology and the company to the next level.About the team: You will be part of an engaged and technology-driven team of four people, with strong expertise in 3D printing and product development. The team combines experienced technical leadership with deep practical knowledge in additive manufacturing and a genuine interest in technology and entrepreneurial spirit. They are currently developing version 2 of their 3D printer, where you will be involved in the entire flow – from ideas to finished product – and contribute your own creative solutions for their customers and projects. For larger projects, they also collaborate with an IT consulting company that provides additional resources. The culture is characterized by curiosity, personal responsibility, and independence; here you will have great freedom to drive your own sub-projects in an environment with short decision-making paths and high engagement, while the team enjoys having lunch together and organizing after-work events when the opportunity arises.About the role: In this new role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the machines, focusing on improving user experience and reliability of their machines. The role is application-oriented and targets both hardware and software, where it is a significant advantage if you have experience in 3D printing and a strong interest in the technology. You will contribute to developing solutions that make the machines easier and more efficient to use while working on exciting technical challenges.Examples of tasks:-Manage and structure databases for machine and user data-Develop and improve UX design for user interfaces-Program in .Net and Python-Work with embedded development and understand the machine's built-in systems-Create and optimize macro scripts in G-code for the machine's functionalityRequirements:• YH focus IT/university engineering degree/master's degree in computer engineering or computer science or similar education• Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written• At least 1 year of experience in software development• Requirement for Swedish citizenshipMeritorious-Master's in computer science-Experience with customer contact and teamwork-Understanding of different customers' knowledge levels-Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written-3D printing as a hobbyWe believe you are:-Willing to develop-Solution-orientedAbout us: We at Framtiden are specialists in recruitment and consulting solutions within technology and IT.
