Job Description

You will work in an agile development team where the team collectively takes responsibility for deliveries and quality. The work is conducted within a larger organization with several collaborating teams that together develop and manage a critical IT system.

The team is cross-functional and organizes its work independently. You work closely with the business and collaborate across areas of expertise to ensure stable and secure deliveries. The work is carried out according to agile principles with a scaled framework.

The organization consists of about 80 people distributed across several teams and central coordination.

Responsibilities

You will work broadly with testing and quality assurance in modern development environments. Examples of tasks include:

• Development and maintenance of automated tests
• Test design and test methodology
• Administration of test cases and test activities
• Management of test data and data population for testing
• Participation in security and capacity tests
• Contributing to the improvement of test strategy and quality work

The technical environment includes:

• Microservices architecture
• Container platform (Red Hat OpenShift)
• Java and Spring Boot
• JavaScript
• Oracle database
• Message queues (JMS/ActiveMQ)
• Git, Helm, Bash
• Testing tools such as RestAssured and AssertJ

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 8 years of cumulative, practical, and current work experience in test automation and test methodology
• At least 8 years of practical experience with SQL
• At least 7 years of practical experience with RestAssured
• At least 5 years of practical experience with Java and Spring Boot
• At least 3 years of practical experience working in an environment based on Red Hat OpenShift

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with critical or regulated IT systems
• Experience developing automated tests in IntelliJ
• Experience in the role of test lead
• Experience from larger and complex organizations
