Your Role

As a System Verification Engineer, you will work with the integration and verification of electronic warfare systems for combat aircraft. The tasks encompass the entire process from requirements analysis, where the product's needs are mapped, to test design and test execution in real target environments. Furthermore, troubleshooting, verification, as well as reporting and documentation of results are included.

As part of our verification team, you will learn about and work with the entire system. Through your work, you will gain deep and broad knowledge of our technology and have the opportunity to connect with experts and customers.

The position is initially located in Järfälla, but in 2026 we will move to new premises in Solna Strand.

Your Profile

As a person, you are meticulous and have the ability to be detail-oriented while also being able to see the big picture. You are curious, and it comes naturally for you to drive your own work forward, both independently and in collaboration with your colleagues. You enjoy working with the integration and testing of complex systems in target environments. We see that you have experience in analyzing requirements and transforming them into test cases, as well as automating suitable test cases and executing and analyzing the results of automated testing. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

To succeed in this role, you have:

• A university degree in engineering physics, electronics, or equivalent
• Basic experience in Java, Python, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience

It is advantageous if you have experience in:

• Signal theory
• RF or microwave technology
• ISTQB (Certified Tester Foundation Level)

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenships.
