Are you good at finding, processing, and analyzing information? FRA's operations in OSINT are expanding, and we are looking for an experienced OSINT analyst who wants to be involved in the development. The focus of the operations is the collection of open information, supporting intelligence production. The tasks are varied, challenging, and often complex. If you are an experienced OSINT analyst, we can offer an interesting job in a knowledge-intensive environment where you can make a difference.
Your mission As an OSINT analyst, you will belong to the signals intelligence department. The department works with the collection, processing, and analysis of intelligence material and delivers reports and other services to the agency's clients.
In the role of OSINT analyst, your main tasks will be to:
- Collect, assess, and process information from open sources.
- Support FRA's intelligence reporting functions with collected material.
- Monitor various topics and geographical areas.
- Participate in the development of the OSINT function.
You can We are looking for someone with experience in collecting and processing open sources, for example in intelligence services, environmental monitoring, or similar activities. You may also have a background as an investigative journalist, researcher, investigator, or similar. It is important that you are curious, driven, socially interested, and persistent. You approach information with a source-critical and analytical mindset.
We are looking for someone with the following competencies and experiences:
- A university degree in library and information science, political science, officer training (focusing on information/intelligence), journalism, or another relevant field that we consider equivalent.
- Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience.
- Professional experience with OSINT or environmental monitoring.
- Very good internet skills - you keep up with the development of services, functions, and navigate comfortably on the Internet.
- Good knowledge of information retrieval, you closely follow the development of services, functions, and working methods.
- Good knowledge regarding social media.
- Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- Completed relevant training in the field.
- Experience with commercial tools for OSINT, SOCMINT, and ADINT.
- Experience in investigative and/or intelligence work.
- Experience in programming in a Linux environment.
- Relevant knowledge of languages other than Swedish and English.

More information The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. Before employment, you will be security vetted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in wartime.
