System Administrator with Experience in Mission-Critical Systems

Job Description

You will work with the management and development of the authority's various systems and their associated components. You will also lead system projects where you manage, capture business needs, develop requirements specifications, coordinate internal and external resources, and lead and conduct tests. In this role, you will have extensive contact with the authority's operations, the system supplier's development team, and you will be a presenter in the ISP steering group where you plan and carry out the annual and ongoing work.

As a system administrator, you will also handle and investigate IT incidents and assist IT support with second-line support. You manage permissions and monitor various functions related to the systems you administer. You provide support and training to the authority's employees and develop and update system documentation and user support in the form of manuals, guides, instructions, and more.

Qualifications

  • Relevant university degree or other experience that the authority considers equivalent.
  • Several years of current experience in system administration of mission-critical systems.
  • Experience leading work in IT management.
  • Experience with one or more management governance models.
  • Experience in creating documentation and user support.
  • Good ability to express yourself in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Meritorious:

  • Experience in IT management in an organization with high security requirements.
  • Experience in system administration and system development from a government authority.
  • Experience in training within system support.
  • Various certifications in management, such as pm3, ITIL, or similar.
  • Knowledge and experience with iipax products and the Office suite.

You are responsible and solution-oriented with good analytical skills and an understanding of technical solutions. You are self-driven in your work style, meticulous and structured, and you find it easy to collaborate. You have experience delivering within set deadlines without compromising accuracy, and you enjoy working both in groups and independently.

The Work Group

As a system administrator, you will be placed in the business support unit and be part of a happy and positive group of security and IT resources. Here you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to ISP's IT, security work, and culture.

About Employment at ISP

The position is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date is by agreement. The position comes with an obligation to be placed in a war situation.

To work with us, Swedish citizenship is required. The position is classified in a security class, and a security review with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. Since a large part of the tasks involve confidential information, the possibility of remote work is limited.
