Consulting Unit Manager in the Industry & Defence Tech Sector

Combitech in Stockholm is growing, and we are looking for a Consulting Unit Manager in the Industry & Defence Tech sector. In this role, you will lead your own consulting unit while also working on assignments either with clients or internally. This gives you the opportunity to influence people's development without losing the connection to operational work.

The Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead a group of approximately 10 consultants who are out on assignments with clients in the defense industry.
• Have personnel responsibility and actively work with competence development, employee conversations, and salary setting.
• Be part of building the management team of the results unit where we will jointly drive the unit's results, occupancy, sales, and long-term development.
• Work variably with significant room for influence, especially as the unit is relatively new and still being shaped.
• Simultaneously work as a consultant, either in our own commitments or with clients. The assignments vary in both nature and duration and are tailored to your expertise. You will be based at our office in Stockholm, Alvik.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a confident and clear leader with experience in leading others in technology-related operations.
• Has a strong commitment to developing both people and business.
• Is business-minded and builds trust in your relationships.
• Has a university degree or equivalent experience.
• Has several years of experience in technology-related roles, as well as documented leadership experience, for example as a manager, team lead, project manager, or scrum master.
• Has an interest in advanced technology and a good understanding of how technology creates value in assignments and projects.
• Has a coaching approach that supports your employees in their development.
• Preferred: At least five years of leadership experience and has worked with sales or business development in the consulting industry.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security screening with a background check.
