Are you an experienced and security-conscious IT Technician with deep expertise in Windows Server and IT operations? Do you want to monitor a business-critical IT environment around the clock? Then this could be the role for you!
We are now looking for several senior, engaged IT Technicians for an Operations Center in Stockholm. Here you will play a central role in monitoring, managing, and securing the operations of a complex IT environment where availability and precision are crucial.
The position includes shift work with alternating on-call duty outside of regular hours.
Your responsibilities:Monitoring Windows Server environments, IT infrastructure, applications, and file transfers using modern monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Nagios, Dynatrace).
Identify, analyze, and classify incoming alerts and take action according to established procedures.
Handle incidents that come in via phone and email, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate as needed.
Document events, incidents, and actions in a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow).
Provide basic user support outside of office hours.
Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance work according to instructions.
Participate in on-call duty according to schedule.
Contribute to improvements in routines, documentation, and workflows.
Be involved in the development of the Operations Center and its processes.
We are looking for someone who is structured, solution-oriented, and thrives in an environment where quality and accuracy are at the forefront. You have a technical background and understand the importance of stable operations and security in business-critical systems.
You have:Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, basic networking, and an understanding of how infrastructure services interact.
Experience in IT operations, monitoring, or work in NOC/Service Desk.
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
Knowledge of networking, databases, and Windows/Linux administration (primarily Windows).
Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Nagios, or Dynatrace.
Understanding of ITIL processes and incident management.
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365.
Understanding of information security.
Experience with shift work.
Mainframe expertise.
Experience with batch and file transfer systems (especially in financial or transaction-intensive environments).
Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
Have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy understanding how complex systems work together.
Are responsible, calm, and meticulous – even under pressure.
