We are looking for a Technical Tester for an exciting assignment with a government agency

Assignment Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Tester with expertise in test automation to join one of our development teams working on proxy management. This role involves working closely with the team's developers on test analysis, test design, and creating automated tests. You will also collaborate closely with the team's business analysts.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create and document test cases and automate their execution (both GUI and API tests).
• Create test data and configure test environments.
• Coordinate and drive the testing efforts for the proxy management product.

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Basic knowledge of Java to understand and debug code.
• Good understanding of SQL databases and REST APIs.
• Technical understanding of system architecture (frontend, backend, integrations).
• Ability to analyze and interpret logs and error messages.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant and current work experience as a Technical Tester in a large organization (minimum 1000 employees).
• Relevant and current experience in test automation and relevant testing tools (ReadyAPI, Selenium/Cypress/Playwright, RestAssured, or similar).
• Relevant and current experience in system and integration testing as well as API testing.
• Relevant and current experience in structuring and documenting test cases, test results, and deviations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant and current experience working with information security and regulated environments.
• Relevant and current experience in performance, load, or security testing.
• ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent.
• Work experience within the SAFe framework.
