What you will do here

As IT Security Lead, you will have a central role in driving, developing, and ensuring Green Cargo's IT security work. You will work both strategically and operationally, contributing to making security a natural part of our continued digital development.

Green Cargo is currently undergoing several major change initiatives, including cloud transformations, platform migrations, and the implementation of new systems where the principle of Security by Design is an important part of the development.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Monitor the threat landscape and the external environment, translating technical risks into business consequences
• Develop and implement Green Cargo's IT security roadmap
• Drive and develop IT security architecture for systems, networks, and cloud services
• Ensure that the right protection, processes, and governance are in place
• Be responsible for IT security matters in the Architecture Board
• Design and update guidelines, policies, and security requirements
• Train and educate the organization in IT security
• Lead and coordinate the handling of IT security incidents
• Be responsible for the governance and follow-up of the SOC provider, as well as reviewing alarms and reports
• Work closely with operations, IT teams, suppliers, and partners to ensure a high security level

Your team and workplace

You belong to the IT Operations unit, where areas such as IT security, Cloud Operations, Change Management, and product ownership are gathered.

You report to the Head of IT Operations and work very closely with Green Cargo's CISO. The role involves many interfaces both internally and externally, where you will become an important advisor and enabler for the business.

About you

We are looking for you who have a solid background in IT security and who thrive in a role where you get to combine strategic work with operational execution.

You are structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented. At the same time, you have the ability to build trust, establish relationships, and communicate security matters in a pedagogical way to different target groups.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• At least 10 years of experience in the IT security field
• At least 5 years of experience from operational security roles
• Experience from larger organizations with complex IT environments
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructures, especially Microsoft Azure
• Experience with SaaS solutions, integrations, and outsourced deliveries
• An academic education in IT or equivalent experience
• Certification in information or IT security, such as CISSP
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship

Meritorious if you have experience with:

• The transport or logistics industry
• Military signal security or military IT security
• Public procurement and supplier management
• System administration or network administration
