About the Role
You will work with financing and support for research and innovation projects within sustainable community development. The work includes, among other things, working with Vinnova's strategic innovation programs and Impact Innovation focusing on community building, mobility, and transport infrastructure, as well as investments in international collaboration.
Your main tasks will be to manage grant projects, engage in dialogue with program offices and external project leaders, and follow up on the results of the projects we finance. Part of the work involves administering our programs and, together with others, developing Vinnova's initiatives.
Examples of Tasks:
- Work with offers of support for research and innovation projects
- Organize and participate in both internal and external meetings, conferences, and workshops
- Administer and follow up on the results of the projects we support
- Represent Vinnova nationally and internationally
- Stay updated by monitoring the environment and reading reports
Qualifications
Education:
- Relevant academic degree in urban planning, community building, or equivalent.
Work Experience:
- You have at least three years of experience working with complex projects or assignments where multiple actors have collaborated – for example, public sector, business, academia, and civil society.
- Experience working as an administrator in the public sector, preferably in research funding.
- Experience independently leading goal- and results-oriented projects.
- Experience of international collaboration in research and innovation.
- Familiarity with producing decision-making materials, writing reports, and giving presentations.
Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of collaboration between companies, universities/colleges, and research institutes.
- Good knowledge in data-driven work, and understanding of the challenges and opportunities that access to data provides for the transformation of society and business.
- Good system proficiency, preferably in the Microsoft 365 environment (especially Teams, SharePoint, and Copilot) as well as experience with case and document management systems used in the public sector (e.g., case management or decision support systems).
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Location
We apply hybrid work, where our employees have the opportunity to combine working from home and in the office. At least half of the working hours should be spent in our activity-based office at Mäster Samuelsgatan 56, which is a few minutes' walk from Stockholm Central Station.
Employment Type and Conditions
The position is a permanent employment, and we apply a six-month probationary period.
Start as soon as possible or by agreement.
Salary range 40 - 45,000 SEK/month.
