We are a total of 47 employees in the procurement area, of which 34 are case officers divided into 3 different units.

A warm greeting from your future manager
We are three unit managers within the elderly procurement area. In our leadership, we focus on providing our employees with the tools and resources needed to make decisions in a legally secure manner. We put our elderly's needs and rights in focus. By being attentive and clear, we create a safe working environment where you, as an employee, receive the support you need.
Your role as a case officer
In the role of case officer, you work with authority exercise according to the Social Services Act. You work to achieve a legally secure and equal assessment of assistance.
Your main tasks include
- Responsible for investigating the need for elderly care, assessing, deciding, and following up on measures for individuals over 65 years old.
- Collaborating with colleagues within the unit.
- Collaborating with other units within the district such as social psychiatry, the dependency unit, the domestic violence team, and external partners.
- Working with interpreters during home visits.
Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in social work
- Knowledge of applicable legislation within social services
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
It is an advantage if you have current experience of:
- Authority exercise.
- The city's documentation system Paraplyet.
- Lifecare.

You communicate clearly and adapt your communication to whom you are addressing. You act professionally and show an engagement that spreads to others. To succeed in the role, you need to be able to independently drive your work. You need to be structured to organize your work effectively.
