International English School (IES) is a leading independent school group with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is in both Swedish and English, and the hallways are bilingual. The language of meetings and communication amongst the staff is English.

International English School Hässleholm opened its doors in 2015 and has since been a place where knowledge, respect, and opportunities are at the center. At International English School in Hässleholm, we make a difference in our students' lives. Today, the school consists of approximately 340 students in grades F-9 and about 40 staff members who work closely together to contribute to a safe and developing learning environment.
Job Responsibilities
As one of our teachers is going on parental leave, we are now seeking a teacher in mathematics and science. The position is a temporary one starting March 11 and ending in June 2026 - with the possibility of extension during the 2026/2027 school year.
At IES Hässleholm, we work to ensure that all students reach their full potential and feel safe and comfortable at school. You will work closely with colleagues, student health, and school management to create the best possible conditions for students' development, both academically and socially. An important part of the role is to create a calm, safe, and stimulating learning environment where every student is given the opportunity to succeed.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications in mathematics and science. Experience working with students in need of special support or teaching students in smaller groups is an advantage.
You have a positive and solution-focused view of people and a good ability to create safe and trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are clear in your communication, structured in your work approach, and have an easy time adapting teaching to the individual needs of students.
As a teacher with us, you find it fun, stimulating, and meaningful to work with students who need extra support to succeed in their schooling. You are motivated by seeing students develop and succeed, and you enjoy working closely with other professionals within the school.
You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish, and you have good collaboration skills. School development in collaboration with colleagues and school management is important and inspiring for you, and you actively contribute to an inclusive and professional work climate.
