JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to be the one who inspires hope for the future in young people and guides them towards well-founded educational and career choices? As a career and guidance counselor with us, you will play an important role in the student health team. You won't wait for students to come to you - you will work proactively, close to teaching and the students' everyday lives to help them build their future.

You will be the driving force in creating a clear thread through the school's career guidance. Through both individual conversations and group activities, you will ensure that our students are informed, inspired, and prepared for high school and the future job market.

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with students and carry out information sessions for high school choices, language choices, higher education, and careers.
• Be an active member of the student health team (EHT) and contribute to students' goal achievement.
• Handle administration related to elective courses and individual choices.
• Be responsible for collaboration with businesses and external partners.
• Plan and execute high school fairs, visitation days, and student shadowing.

You work in a structured manner and take responsibility for planning and driving the guidance work forward. With a solution-focused and creative approach, you find ways to strengthen students' ability to make informed choices. You are communicative, flexible, and see opportunities where others see obstacles - always with the student's best interests in mind.

Competence Requirements

• Licensed career and guidance counselor.
• Good knowledge of regulations, qualifications, and administrative systems.
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Experience working as a career and guidance counselor and within the student health team.
• Experience collaborating with businesses or external partners.
