We are looking for someone who wants to help develop the school's professional learning community. As a lead teacher at Alléskolan, you will take on a special responsibility for driving our school development work and have an important role as a teacher leader. Together with other key personnel, you will lead the collegial learning with the aim that teachers learn from each other and improve the teaching for students.
The role involves moving from words to action; you should not only know what needs to be done but also build the structures required to make it a reality throughout the organization.
In this position, you will participate in the school development group together with other lead teachers, key personnel, and school management. It is about building routines, guidelines, working methods, and maintaining the common direction for the school. All to create the best school for every student. There will also be a significant effort to implement LGR 28.
At the same time, the main part of your position will be teaching in grades 7–9. You will conduct, both individually and in teams, varied, interdisciplinary, creative, and engaging teaching for our students. You will find strategies to reach every student and contribute to increased goal fulfillment. You will plan, assess, evaluate, and develop the educational activities in accordance with the school's governing documents and the systematic quality work. The lead teacher works at their own workplace but may also have a cross-municipal/administrative role by spreading good examples.
Qualifications
You who apply are a certified teacher for grades 7–9 with experience in interdisciplinary working methods. You have experience in driving collegial learning in schools. To be considered for the role of lead teacher, you must be able to document at least four years of well-documented work after graduation at the secondary level with teaching within the framework of one or more positions in the school system. Furthermore, you have experience in mentoring other teachers or driving pedagogical development processes based on systematic quality work.
Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and, with good knowledge and experience, work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you have a professional and low-arousal approach and work to build good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
We are looking for someone who is a natural team player with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You thrive in a leadership role and are driven by having influence and control over pedagogical processes. With your high level of determination, you take great responsibility for the goals of the organization, and thanks to your good ability to structure, you work in a planned, careful, and orderly manner. We offer a role for you who is reliable, diligent, and wants to make a difference through a safe and methodical leadership.
