Job Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an activity leader for the project 'Digital Competence for Employees in Malmö City' at the Employment Market Department's unit for support and employer functions.

The Employment Market Department currently has about 500 employees recruited from groups that are far from the labor market. The employment is an opportunity for these employees to develop skills, experiences, networks, and references. Among these employees, we need to continue developing digital competence. This is to enable them to access and search for information, be involved in the workplace, and participate in the city's continuing education. Therefore, we want to provide employees with a digital foundation by offering 650 employees further training that they can then develop further in their respective workplaces. The initiative consists of teacher-led training and competence development modules that the employee can work on independently.

In the role of activity leader, you need to have pedagogical competence as you will focus on teaching the basics of both hardware and software. This will be done through training sessions, but also by creating content for the materials used in the competence development modules. Close collaboration will be required with other members of the project group.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you should have:

  • Completed secondary education.
  • Experience in pedagogical work.
  • Experience in relational work.
  • Swedish – ability to communicate fluently in speech and writing.

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Worked with educational initiatives.
  • Worked on a project basis.

The Department for Employment Initiatives is an important player in Malmö's labor market.
