The work at Mo Gård is varied and eventful, and no day is like the other.
If you want to work in a unique environment where meaningful everyday life is created together with the individual, then you should apply for a position with us.
Your Responsibilities
As a support educator or teacher, you work together with the unit manager and special educator to strengthen the staff group's knowledge and ability to provide services according to LSS. You play an important role in ensuring quality in the operations by following up and developing the work around planning, implementation, and follow-up.
You ensure that laws and regulations are followed, with a particular focus on documentation and quality assurance of methods and working practices at the unit level. The assignment also includes supporting and guiding colleagues in pedagogical work and translating implementation plans into a meaningful and functioning everyday life for each individual. The role combines supervisory responsibility with direct work alongside the users.
With us, you will work closely with the users and help create a daily life characterized by self-determination, participation, and high quality.
About You
We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education as a support educator within LSS, alternatively as a social educator, treatment educator, or social worker. Knowledge of LSS, intellectual disabilities, and neuropsychiatric disabilities is an advantage, as is experience from work in the field. Since the operations are conducted in a sign language environment, knowledge of – or interest in learning – sign language is particularly valuable.
You express yourself well in writing and have good knowledge of social documentation. Experience or interest in ICT is seen as a plus.
As a person, you are curious, attentive, and open to others' perspectives. You have a humanistic view of people and thrive in a flexible environment where development and improvement are a natural part of everyday life. You work in a structured and solution-focused manner, find it easy to build good relationships, and contribute with a pedagogical, guiding, and mentoring approach in collaboration with colleagues. For you, it is natural to be involved in the development of the operations and to contribute to a good cohesion in the workgroup.
We place great importance on personal qualities.
The role suits you if you want to combine pedagogical competence with a warm and professional approach and are driven to develop the operations together with others.
Employment
We offer a permanent position at 100 percent with a monthly salary according to agreement and based on individual salary setting. We apply a 6-month probationary period, and the start date will be agreed upon. Your working hours will include days, evenings, and every other weekend.
A prerequisite for employment is that you can provide an extract from the criminal record and that you have a driving license for a manual car.
Before employment, we will conduct a citizenship check. You will need to present a passport, national ID card, or personal certificate. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also prove a valid work permit or that you are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit according to the Aliens Ordinance 6 chap §13a.
Selection is ongoing and may be filled before the application deadline, so do not wait to submit your application.
Application deadline: 2026-03-06
Warm welcome to your application!
