The International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) at Lund University was founded in 1994. It has around 50 employees from more than 15 countries. The institute facilitates a large number of external research and development projects as well as two international master's programs. The working language of the institute is English. Job Description

The work involves assisting ongoing research that addresses behavioral and psychological factors influencing climate investments, the adoption of climate-protective technologies, and their connections to subjective well-being. The position entails supporting researchers with literature reviews, data collection, interviews, and drafting scientific reports. The work also includes active participation in project meetings, support for project management, and assistance with research communication. The position further involves collaboration with various stakeholders and organizations involved in research activities. The tasks may also include assistance with organizing events.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collect and summarize previous research.
  • Review and analyze scientific and policy documents.
  • Support data collection and related analyses.
  • Draft reports and presentations.
  • Assist in project management and communication.

Requirements for the Position:

  • Master's degree, preferably in psychology, environmental policy, or sustainability science.
  • Documented ability to conduct extensive literature studies and interviews.
  • Documented ability to write scientific texts.
  • Good knowledge of academic/professional English, both written and spoken.
  • Documented ability to work independently.

Other Qualifications for the Position Include:

  • Knowledge of or experience in research related to environmentally conscious behavior, climate-friendly investments, and subjective well-being.
  • Documented ability to work in interdisciplinary research environments.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and other European languages (e.g., German, French).
  • Other skills and knowledge relevant to the assignment (e.g., project management, statistical analysis, databases, software, social media).
  • Consideration will also be given to how the applicant's experience and skills complement and strengthen the ongoing research within the department and how they can contribute to its future development.

Employment Conditions

Fixed-term employment for 8 months, starting as soon as possible.
