JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a study counselor in Swahili who will work with study guidance in the mother tongue. The work as a study counselor involves:

• Being a support for the student to follow the Swedish education.
• Providing terms and concepts in both Swedish and the student's mother tongue.
• Increasing the student's opportunities to achieve the goals of the curriculum.

The work involves providing a support measure regulated in the School Ordinance Chapter 5. The support is aimed at students who do not master Swedish well enough to actively participate in the education and follow the curriculum. The work involves close collaboration with the teaching teacher at the school and being a contact between teacher and student.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have good knowledge of both Swahili and Swedish. Experience with similar tasks is preferred.

As a person, you have a strong interest in supporting students in their schoolwork. You are structured and at the same time used to finding flexible solutions. The position requires flexibility, good collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently. You need to be attentive and willing to cooperate.
