JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Study Guide in Tagalog 15%

You will conduct teaching in your native language, but also be able to provide study guidance in the native language for newly arrived students in various school subjects.

The work will be distributed across different primary schools in the municipality, in close collaboration with principals and class teachers.

The job also requires that you are well acquainted with the school's digital tools such as Google Drive, Google Classroom, etc., and are used to developing teaching with the help of digital tools.

We work to place part-time positions on a few days a week so that it can be combined with other employment. The size of the position depends on the possible combination of subjects, the need for study guidance, and the number of newly arrived individuals in the municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is qualified to teach in their native language through a Swedish teaching degree or a validated teaching degree from their home country. Furthermore, you should have completed at least 30 credits in your native language, have good knowledge of the Swedish language (at least Sv3), and be able to communicate fluently in both speech and writing.

Experience working as a native language teacher or study guide is an advantage. In addition, you should have good knowledge in study guidance and IT. Knowledge in mathematics, social studies, and natural sciences is also advantageous.

As a person, you take initiative and have good collaboration skills. You are self-assured, flexible, positive, and engaged, and enjoy working with organizational development.
