Kirsebergstornet is a popular preschool located in the central part of the Kirseberg area, close to parks and libraries. The preschool's newly renovated premises offer ample space and provide opportunities for meaningful challenges and processes. In addition to our yard, there are several exciting surroundings to visit.

Child groups and work teams are structured into two units with age-divided child groups, younger and older. We base our work on a project-based approach with a common theme and with the children's participation and curiosity in focus. The departments work to group themselves based on the planned teaching.

Kirsebergstornet, like the other preschools in the area, is engaged in innovative work where sustainability has been one of our development areas for several years. Currently, the focus is on language development. Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher with us, you work to create a safe, fun, and educational preschool environment. With us, you have the opportunity to be part of a conscious, structured, well-established, and close collaboration with both other preschool teachers and other colleagues. You lead and develop the educational activities together with the rest of the work team. You have a special responsibility for teaching and work with the curriculum as a basis based on each child's knowledge, experiences, and specific conditions. All preschool teachers in Malmö city have scheduled time (5 hours/week) for reflection, documentation, and learning with colleagues.

The educators actively work to create challenging and accessible educational environments that reflect the children's interests and curiosity and meet the children's needs. We emphasize relational pedagogy and focus on how care, development, and learning create a whole. We start the operational year with a common theme to make the systematic quality work permeated by a red thread thinking, where the lead preschool teacher, deputy principal, and principal support your work towards the goals of the operation. We have developed a well-functioning structure in the systematic quality work where we focus on analysis and development.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a preschool teacher's license. We want you to contribute with engagement, creativity, and a drive to develop the operations. You meet each child with respect and attentiveness. Of course, you have a professional attitude and work towards good relationships with guardians and colleagues. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

To be permanently employed as a preschool teacher, a preschool teacher's license is required, according to the Education Act.
