We are now looking for an experienced and analytical Financial Controller in Malmö for one of our clients. This is a qualified role for those who have a few years of experience in controlling or financial management and want to take the next step in their career.

As a Financial Controller, you have a central role in the organization and work closely with management and the finance department. You are responsible for monitoring, analysis, and reporting, as well as providing decision support that supports the business's development.

• Be responsible for ongoing monitoring of results, budgets, and forecasts
• Analyze deviations and produce financial decision support
• Participate in budget and forecasting processes
• Monthly and annual financial closing in collaboration with the accounting function
• Develop and streamline financial processes and routines
• Support the business with financial analysis and advice
• Reporting to management and other stakeholders

• Post-secondary education in finance, economics, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in the role of Financial Controller or similar
• Good knowledge of accounting and financial analysis
• Very good skills in Excel
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience with business systems and BI tools
• Previous work in a larger organization or corporate environment
• Experience in process development and streamlining

You are analytical, structured, and self-driven. You have a business-oriented mindset, are communicative, and thrive in a role with many contact points. You work proactively and have the ability to translate numbers into insights.
