Job Description

The Public Employment Service and the Social Insurance Agency collaborate to ensure that individuals who are on sick leave or receiving activity compensation and who need coordinated efforts have access to joint mapping and rehabilitation efforts. The goal for the individual participating in rehabilitation collaboration is to develop or regain their work ability.

As early as possible, the authorities conduct joint mappings, identify and assess needs, plan and follow up on the individual rehabilitation efforts that participants are involved in, to facilitate the transition to work or studies.

You will provide support and service to individuals in need of long-term and clear planning. A significant part of the tasks is to collaborate with the Social Insurance Agency and other partners, both internally and externally, to move the case forward. You will also collaborate with employers and other actors in various phases of the individual's rehabilitation efforts. You have a good ability to collaborate, strong communication skills both verbally and in writing, and can meet individuals in a safe and calm manner in various situations. You work based on the Public Employment Service's values and have a respectful and positive approach.

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may start with a six-month probationary period. The location is Kristianstad.

Basic requirements for the position

• University/higher education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system)
• Alternatively, you have been employed as an employment officer at the Public Employment Service and are assessed to have good prospects of meeting today's requirements for employment officers
• At least 2 years of work experience, collectively working at least 50 percent for a total of 2 years
• Good knowledge of Swedish, i.e., a good ability to communicate in speech and writing, as well as high reading comprehension
• Driving license B

Other merits for the position

• Experience working with work-oriented rehabilitation and individuals with various disabilities.
• Experience and knowledge of collaboration with other actors, such as authorities, municipalities, healthcare institutions, employers, and complementary actors.
• Experience and interest in working with employers and in acquiring places for rehabilitation efforts.
