About the roleAs a school lawyer, you will be part of the group's staff department for quality and development, organizationally placed under the quality manager. The department works cross-professionally with compliance, authority processes, and quality development, where law plays a central role in the governance and improvement work of the principal.
The role involves providing qualified legal support to various levels of the governance chain. You will work closely with other specialist functions and contribute to developing preventive and legally secure working methods throughout the organization.
You will:
Provide qualified legal advice on school law issues to management and operations
Be responsible for school law investigations and ensure legally sustainable assessments in complex issues
Contribute to legally secure authority exercise and equitable application of regulations within the group
Develop and quality assure the principal's routines, guidelines, and governing documents from a legal perspective
Contribute legal expertise to the principal's systematic quality work and quality improvement processes
Conduct environmental monitoring and analyze changes in legislation, practice, and authority processes relevant to the principal and operations
Support the organization through training, guidance, and competence development initiatives in school law
A law degree and good knowledge of school law and education law
Experience in qualified legal work within the education sector
Experience in investigative work and analysis of complex issues within the education sector
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain and translate legal reasoning in a clear and operationally relevant way, both orally and in writing
High digital competence and experience in data-driven development and quality work
Good collaboration skills and experience working in cross-professional contexts
The ability to work independently in a role characterized by great trust and personal responsibility
You will have a role where law is an obvious part of the organization's development, and where your work makes an impact throughout the organization.
You will be part of a staff department with high competence and close cross-professional collaboration, where complex issues are analyzed together and where legal perspectives contribute to long-term and preventive solutions.
The role gives you the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally, with variation between analysis, advice, and development work. You will work closely with management on complex issues where law, quality, and operations intersect.
Placement and scopeThe position is hybrid with office placement in Malmö or Stockholm. You can work from any location in Sweden but are expected to work from one of our offices in Malmö or Stockholm as needed. The rest of the time, work can be done remotely. The job involves travel within the country, both with and without overnight stays. A driver's license (B) is required.
