ABOUT THE POSITION

The role of Finance Assistant at Wagenborg is a fantastic springboard for you at the beginning of your career. You will be offered a broad and responsible role where you combine qualified financial work with administrative tasks. Since the office consists of a total of 9 employees, the role is varied; one moment you handle large sums in different currencies, and the next you help with the office's well-being. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that financial processes run smoothly. You will work closely with all departments in the organization and contribute with accuracy and efficiency in the daily work.

  • Employment type: Parental leave replacement for 1.5 years
  • Working hours: Weekdays 08:30–16:30
  • Start: Immediately

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

In the role of Finance Assistant, you report to the office's financial administrator. You are expected to gradually become self-sufficient and take initiative on your own. Your main tasks include:

  • Finance: Ongoing bookkeeping, following up on accounts receivable and accounts payable, currency exchange, invoicing, handling supplier invoices, registering payments, account reconciliations, participating in development projects within finance, administering expenses and travel reimbursements, assisting with monthly and annual financial closings, as well as some reporting to the parent company in the Netherlands.
  • Administration: Booking travel for colleagues, purchasing office supplies, managing event invitations, and acting as an internal service function for the office.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a post-secondary degree in finance from a vocational school or university
  • Has previous work experience in finance
  • Is fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English
  • Is experienced with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
