Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Wants to work with a 33-year-old man living in Norrby

• Has good knowledge of Swedish

• Is non-smoker

• Has good physical condition and can perform transfers at work

• Has a driver's license and access to a car

It is also advantageous if you:

• Have experience in personal assistance or similar work,

• Have experience with a ventilator

• Share the client's interests, which include 50s cars and ice hockey, with the favorite team Djurgården.

• Are accustomed to working awake at night

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts". The position covers approximately 48% and involves active night shifts.

The working hours follow a rolling 4-week schedule with both weekday and weekend shifts. You will work a total of 6 nights per month according to the following example:

Week 1: Off

Week 2: Wednesday 8:00 PM – 9:00 AM

Week 3: Thursday 8:00 PM – 9:00 AM and Friday 8:00 PM – 9:00 AM

Week 4: Friday 8:00 PM – 9:00 AM, Saturday 8:00 PM – 9:00 AM, and Sunday 8:00 PM – 9:00 AM

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.
