Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide qualified HR support to the IT department with a focus on recruitment, competency supply, and staffing.

You will support managers throughout the recruitment process, from needs analysis to hiring, and actively work to ensure that the organization has the right competencies for both current and future needs. The role primarily focuses on IT recruitment but also includes other tasks within the recruitment function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs assessment and competency analysis in collaboration with the IT department's unit and group managers. Lead and operate recruitment processes from needs analysis to signed employment contract.
  • Conduct active search to identify and attract qualified IT candidates.
  • Assist with consultant procurement from need to contract in accordance with applicable regulations and internal guidelines.
  • Support and develop processes for consultant exchange.
  • Contribute to the development, quality assurance, and efficiency of recruitment and staffing processes within the IT area.

About the Department/Group

The position is located in the HR department, which currently consists of about 110 employees. As a recruitment officer, you will belong to the group for Competency Supply and Systems. KTH is both a university and a government authority.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Academic education in HR/human resources, behavioral science, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Several years of relevant experience in recruitment, including responsibility for the entire recruitment process. Experience in recruiting IT roles or other qualified specialist roles.
  • Experience in recruitment work and recruitment of IT services within the public sector or government authority, preferably a university or college.
  • Experience in active search/headhunting.
  • Experience using social media, such as LinkedIn, for professional communication, candidate attraction, and recruitment.
  • Excellent ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English, as both languages are required in daily work.
  • Good ability to work independently, structured, and in close collaboration with managers.
  • Good ability to collaborate with others.
  • Good administrative skills and experience working in digital recruitment systems.

Meritorious

  • Experience in competency-based recruitment.
  • Experience with the recruitment system Varbi.
  • Experience in consultant procurement, especially in the IT area.
  • Knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and government framework agreements.
  • Experience in consultant exchange or long-term competency supply.
  • Experience working in a larger and complex organization.
  • Good understanding of IT operations and technical roles.
