Do you want to help shape the fossil-free society of the future? We are now looking for a Senior Accountant to join Vattenfall's Record to Report team.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of Vattenfall's central accounting function – R2R – where the focus is on quality, compliance, and continuous improvements. You will work closely with internal teams, external auditors, and their outsourcing partners, playing a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reports for the group's companies.

Your main responsibilities

• Be responsible for ongoing accounting and activities in the general ledger according to internal standards, IFRS, and Swedish legislation

• Participate in and drive monthly and annual closings with high precision and reliability

• Prepare financial reports and annual accounts for legal entities

• Manage the entire reporting process and drive the work with external audits

• Conduct account reconciliations, analyses, VAT reconciliations, and tax-related tasks

• Work with fixed asset registers and accounting of fixed assets

• Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and service providers

• Participate in improvement work and contribute to cross-functional projects

The position is a consultancy role, which means you will be employed by us at StudentConsulting but will work alongside Vattenfall at their office in Solna. The position is full-time with standard office hours, expected to start on March 1, 2026, and run until November 11, 2027. For any further questions, please contact the responsible recruiter.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• University degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field

• Good knowledge of IFRS and Swedish accounting legislation

• 3–5 years of experience in ongoing accounting and statutory reporting, preferably in a larger group or complex organization

• Experience with SAP is an advantage

• Good proficiency in MS Office

• Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English
