Täby Municipality is currently seeking a Service Officer for the Contact Center for a temporary position until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension. With us, you are the first point of contact for residents, businesses, and visitors – playing an important role in creating a positive interaction with the municipality. About the Municipality
Täby is one of Sweden's best-managed municipalities with great freedom of choice, high-quality welfare services, an attractive business climate, and a stable economy. Täby is developing with new attractive and safe environments and by further developing existing areas – sustainably, with care for cultural heritage and where larger contiguous green areas are preserved. Täby Municipality's Contact Center
Täby Municipality's Contact Center consists of 16 officers, a unit manager, an assistant manager, and a service developer. The Contact Center is responsible for informing, assisting, and guiding everyone who contacts the municipality - whether it is via phone, email, web, app, or through personal visits to the reception. The unit is also tasked with driving service development work together with the municipality's operations.
Your Responsibilities
As a Service Officer, you will become part of a team where everyone collaborates closely to resolve as many incoming cases as possible and ensure high availability and good service for the municipality's residents. In your daily work, you will use several different IT systems to provide accurate information and guidance. You will continuously be involved in shaping and adopting new working methods, tasks, and solutions, which means that you will constantly develop and stay updated on news within the municipality. An important part of the job is the dialogue and collaboration with the municipality's internal operations – it is through close cooperation that we can continue to develop and improve municipal services together.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who thrives in a role where service is at the center. You enjoy helping people and provide a good response regardless of the question or case that comes in. In this role, you will be an important representative of the municipality and feel comfortable providing support and guidance in many different types of cases. To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have:
- Experience in customer-oriented service work, for example from a contact center, customer service, or a similar role where phone and email are central working tools.
- Completed secondary education.
- Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
- Good IT skills and comfort in working in multiple systems simultaneously.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience working in municipal or public operations.
- Additional language skills beyond Swedish and English.
- Post-secondary education with a focus on service or administration.

You are curious, unpretentious, and motivated to find smooth and smart solutions that make the service better and more accessible for our residents. You are attentive and have a natural ability to understand others' needs, and you adjust your approach according to both the situation and the person.
