Investigator in Authority Operations for Children and Youth

Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone living here today and in the future. We are now looking for someone who wants to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.

The Social Administration of the City of Stockholm has a comprehensive and coordinating role for social services' individual and family care and disability services. Here, we create good conditions to meet residents in need of social services support. In close collaboration with the district administrations, we contribute to a modern, digital, legally secure, equal, and knowledge-based social service, and we have a strong focus on development. Within the administration, a wide range of support measures are offered to the city's residents, and the offerings change based on the needs of Stockholmers and the wishes of the district administrations. The work often occurs in close cooperation with other authorities, civil society, and the business community. The Social Administration is also responsible for the city's serving and tobacco permits and conducts supervision.

Do you have several years of experience in authority operations for children and youth and solid expertise in family law?

Do you want to use your experiences in a strategic, advisory, and city-wide context? Here, you are offered a qualified assignment where your expertise in both child and youth care and family law will be an important support for managers, operations, and decision-makers – and where your work contributes to long-term improvements for children, youth, and families throughout the City of Stockholm.

Welcome to us

At the Competence Center for Children and Youth, we work broadly to support social services in Stockholm's eleven districts with a focus on children and youth. We also work with issues related to social services' crime prevention efforts and violence-promoting extremism. We support and facilitate the districts' work by coordinating issues and contributing to an equal, equitable, and knowledge-based social service.

The assignment includes city-wide budget tasks, project management, management networks, as well as training, workshops, and conferences based on the districts' needs. The unit also has the task of monitoring the external environment, participating in regional and national networks, and preparing materials for the social committee and the social and security department in the City of Stockholm by responding to referrals and carrying out political assignments.

We offer

As an investigator at the Social Administration, you will work in a dynamic environment with several important social assignments. You will have the opportunity to influence and develop social services' work within authority operations for children and youth as well as family law issues.

You will be surrounded by competent and engaged colleagues and offered good opportunities for professional development and growth in your role.

Here with us, you will receive both responsibility and support, and you will become part of a unit driven by commitment and care – both for those we serve and for each other. Welcome to become a part of our team! Regards, Ulrika

Your role

As an investigator with us, you are an expert in authority operations for children and youth as well as in family law issues.
