About us

The Property Department, which is part of the Office for Community Building, is responsible for managing, building, and developing the municipality's operational premises such as preschools, schools, care facilities, and housing, as well as facilities and venues for sports and culture.

The department is led by the property manager who has three units under them; the project and property development unit, the management unit, and the operations unit. The management unit consists of property managers, project leaders for planned maintenance, and property administrators. The project and property development unit consists of project leaders, project coordinators, and energy-climate environmental coordinators. The operations unit consists of operation technicians, caretakers, property maintenance workers, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, facility maintenance staff for fire alarms, technical coordinators, and green space managers.

About the position

As a coordinator in property management, you have a central role in ensuring that the municipality's properties comply with applicable laws, regulations, and authority requirements. You are responsible for coordination, follow-up, and documentation within property management and work closely with both internal operations and external actors. Your tasks include, among others:

• Coordinating and following up on authority inspections and controls (e.g., OVK, elevators, fire protection, playgrounds, etc.)
• Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and municipal guidelines
• Being responsible for the property management's part in the property system Pythagoras, including updating and quality assurance of data
• Documenting, following up, and reporting actions related to property management
• Being the contact person for authorities, contractors, and internal operations
• Contributing to the development of work methods, routines, and system support within property management

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience or interest in property systems, preferably Pythagoras

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in property management or property administration
• Good knowledge of authority inspections and controls

As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and self-driven. You also have good collaboration skills and are communicative. To succeed in the role, you are not afraid to be creative and find solutions to emerging problems.
