We are looking for a Junior Tax Accountant for our client, a world-leading company in truck and bus manufacturing.

This is a consulting assignment starting on March 2nd and extending throughout the year with a chance for extension. The company applies a hybrid model where you are expected to work on-site in Södertälje about 2-3 days a week. A background check will be conducted on the final candidate.

About the position

As a Junior Tax Accountant, you will support the Manager HAMG in driving and documenting tax processes related to international employees globally. The role involves working on the development and structuring of tax compliance processes and contributing to the creation of new tax policies to be used by the Global Mobility team, which handles all international assignments within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects related to the documentation and development of tax compliance processes
• Support the development of new tax policies for the Global Mobility team
• Ensure that processes related to international employees comply with relevant regulations
• Collaborate with internal functions and contribute to improvements in global mobility
• Support knowledge transfer and structuring of processes

Suitable background

We are looking for someone with at least two years of practical experience in tax matters related to expats or international employees. To succeed in this role, we believe you have previously worked within a Global Mobility team at a company or as a tax trainee or consultant at an auditing/accounting firm. You have good project management skills and enjoy driving work forward in an international environment.

Personal qualities

To thrive in this role, you are self-driven, responsible, and analytical. You work in a structured manner and find it easy to understand complex regulations and processes. You are communicative, collaborate well with various stakeholders, and are comfortable working in a global organization. As the role involves international contacts, it is important that you express yourself fluently in English.
