Section for Support through Visits, Administrative Department

If you want to work with support and assist our users at the Government Offices of Sweden with personal service, this is the role for you.

The Government Offices' Contact Center is a hub for the Administrative Department, and we represent them in contact with ministries, embassies, and consulates around the world. The Contact Center consists of three sections: Response Service and Information Supply, Phone Support, and Support through Visits.

You will work with support tasks in the section for support through visits, where we are the core of the Administrative Department's coordinated deliveries. We are a section with about 25 colleagues working together to support our users with various services, such as changes in IT accounts, hardware installation, and staffing changes that generate changes in equipment, placement in premises or organization, telephony solutions, permissions, access, and support for our IT products.

Your main tasks involve providing support and service to users regarding IT equipment such as computers, mobile phones, and smart cards.

You will register, complete, prioritize, and follow up on cases that come into the Contact Center. The work also involves performing initial simple troubleshooting and guiding users on how to use equipment and digital tools in their work. You will work systematically in a case management system and continuously document the actions taken. The work is conducted at a fast pace with many parallel cases and contact points.

Your Background

You have a high school education and experience in service work where personal service has been a central part of the role. You have experience working in a support function or another service-oriented role where you have assisted users through personal meetings or email.

You have a good general understanding of IT and feel confident in helping users with basic functions in mobile phones, tablets, and laptops. You have experience working in case management systems and documenting cases. You express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Experience in customer support is an advantage. Experience working with Apple products and iOS is also advantageous.

It is also advantageous if you have worked in environments with many simultaneous cases, a fast pace, and clear deadlines. Relevant skills in MS Office and a basic understanding of how mobile devices are managed in organizations, for example, through Mobile Device Management, are also advantageous. Basic knowledge of networks, printers, or user accounts in directory services can also be beneficial.

You have a natural interest in technological development and monitoring of the external environment, as well as a desire to broaden your areas of expertise to support other support groups within the unit when needed.

A security clearance will be conducted before a decision on employment is made.

The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement.
