We are now looking for a senior controller with experience in the real estate industry for an exciting consulting assignment with our client. Here you will have a central role in client delivery where you work closely with both the client and the management organization with analysis, follow-up, and financial management – including investments.

The assignment is planned to start in March/April and will run until the end of the year. The team is located in Västerås, but the consultant can be based in either Västerås or Stockholm.

In the role of property controller, you will work closely with the client and the internal management organization on follow-up, analysis, and financial management. You are an important link between the client and the organization and contribute to ensuring effective reporting, good financial control, and well-founded decision-making support.

The assignment involves supporting the client in financial matters related to property management and investments, as well as contributing with analyses and follow-ups that support the organization's goals and strategies.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Work in client delivery with performance follow-up and analysis for management clients.
• Act as a link between the client and the internal management organization and be a natural point of contact for the client.
• Coordinate information and reporting flows to the management client as well as internally to the client manager and property manager.
• Coordinate the work with budgets and forecasts.
• Work with year-end closing to ensure accurate results.
• Prepare analyses of projects and ensure that financial goals and strategies are met.

We expect you to have:

• A degree in economics at the university level or equivalent.
• Experience as a controller in the real estate industry.
• Experience working in larger companies or groups.
• Good understanding of the economic requirements of the real estate industry, preferably with experience in tax, VAT, and accounting.
• Good familiarity with larger business systems and reporting tools.
• Very good skills in MS Excel and experience analyzing large data sets.
