Financial Assistant

On behalf of the government, the National Property Board of Sweden (SFV) manages our common natural and cultural heritage. We manage a variety of state-owned properties – including government buildings, courts, castles and royal estates, theaters, museums, embassies, as well as one-seventh of the country’s area consisting of forests and land.

As employees, we are proud to work for an authority, operate based on the state’s value framework, and contribute to positive societal development.

In the finance unit, we are 12 employees with expertise in accounting, financial monitoring, and financial management. We support each other, share knowledge, and develop our working methods together. We work with budgets, forecasts, and financial statements for the management group, board, and external authorities. Our responsibilities also include customer and supplier accounts, accounting, financial models, financing issues, and ongoing support to the organization in financial matters.

Do you want to work broadly with finance, collaborate with colleagues in various parts of the organization, and have an interest in finance within property management? Welcome to us!

Your Role

In this role, you will work both in one of our property areas and in the central function of the finance unit. This means you will have two organizational work environments, both located centrally in Stockholm.

In the property area, you will primarily work with customer invoicing, which means you will prepare invoicing documentation and actively verify the information with our property managers and technical managers. In collaboration with the finance responsible for the property area, you will work on account reconciliations, accruals, and corrections during financial closing.

At the central finance unit, you will work with our e-commerce system, where you will support both managers and employees in placing orders and also handle supplier invoices. Furthermore, you will also perform customer invoicing centrally. You will also work with administration, such as handling payroll items in our IT support for payroll and employment.

You will have close collaboration with your colleagues in the finance unit and will be in contact with customers and suppliers on various issues.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a degree in accounting at the university or YH level
  • experience working with accounts receivable and customer invoicing
  • experience in following up on unpaid receivables, collections, and late fees
  • several years of experience in a similar role where you have done ongoing postings, worked with internal reconciliations, and been involved in financial closing
  • good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

  • experience working with supplier invoices
  • experience placing orders in e-commerce systems
  • experience working in Proceedo, Unit4 ERP/Agresso, or LEB
  • experience working with finance in the real estate industry

Personal Qualities

We place great importance on personal qualities. To thrive in this role, you work in a structured manner and plan your work well. The role involves many points of contact and recurring collaboration with both colleagues and other functions, and therefore you find it easy to create relationships. You contribute to good collaboration and actively take the initiative to gather the information you need in your work.

How to Apply

To apply for the position, we ask you to attach your CV and answer a number of selection questions based on the requirements profile. In the initial selection, we will only consider your CV and your answers to the questions. We ask that you respond concretely and succinctly, and that there is a clear connection between your answers and your CV.

If you have protected personal information, we ask you to call the recruiting manager for information on how to submit your application.

For questions, please contact the recruiting manager Mariette Molin at 010-478 74 07.

Union representatives for Saco, Seko, and OFR/S can be reached via our switchboard at 010‑478 70 00. More information about SFV can be found at www.sfv.se.
