The National Cybersecurity Center, NCSC, is seeking an administrator to participate in building the center's operations at FRA. Your mission
As an administrator, you will belong to the NCSC department at FRA. The department is newly established at FRA and is currently under construction. As part of the department, you will contribute to the development journey, both in the exercise area and the education area, as well as in other operational areas. As the department grows, your role will evolve.
In the role of administrator, you will be part of larger missions by contributing to the planning, implementation, and follow-up of NCSC's operations in the areas of exercise, education, and collaboration. The work will include larger national and international cybersecurity exercises, educational initiatives, and coordination of collaborative forums led by NCSC. The tasks include project administration, process and service development, and documentation. You will also have the opportunity to work independently and drive other activities within the department. There are great opportunities for growth in the role.
Travel is part of the job, both domestically and internationally.
You can
We are looking for someone who has:
- Documented post-secondary education in technology, political science, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Experience working with information security or cybersecurity.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- Experience working in government or critical societal operations.
- Experience collaborating between authorities and/or other actors, nationally or internationally.
- Experience in operational development.
- Experience planning, coordinating, and implementing educational initiatives or exercises.
- Experience participating in cybersecurity exercises.
- Experience working within SOC, CERT/CSIRT.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of infrastructure: network architecture, segmentation, firewalls, routing.
- Knowledge of virtualization and cloud: AWS, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, containers.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity (Red team/blue team, incident management, log analysis, DFiR, MISP, vulnerabilities, threat actors, attack chains).
- Knowledge of exercises (Cyber range environments, exercise platforms such as openctf or Conducttr).

The workplace is currently located in Tomteboda, Solna. In a few years, new premises will be ready in Bergshamra. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. Before employment, you will be security vetted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in wartime.
