The Medicine Department at Alingsås Hospital is looking for a medical secretary for a summer temporary position!

Description

For us, good collaboration is important as we work in teams consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, secretaries, and others around the patient.

We would like you to have an interest in diagnosis classification.

Responsibilities

The tasks consist of standard duties as a medical secretary and vary based on placement. A selection includes:

• Journal documentation in Melior
• Diagnosis classification in Melior and registration of diagnosis and procedure codes in ELVIS
• Referral management
• Patient booking
• Mail handling
• Preparation for scanning

Qualifications

Two-year YH education, or equivalent, as a medical secretary

Good computer skills

Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

Meritorious

Experience with Melior and ELVIS

Training in disease classification

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Working Hours

Working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday.
