HR Generalist at SiS Youth Home Margretelund

The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse problems. SiS also implements secure youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse across the country. At SiS, your work life becomes an exciting challenge. No matter where in our organization you work or what position you hold, you help create life-changing transformations.

SiS Youth Home Margretelund receives non-compulsory school-age girls and boys with psychosocial issues, criminality, and substance abuse. We operate in Lidköping and near Falköping.

Job Description

Do you want to work in a key role and contribute to higher quality in our operations? Apply for the position of HR Generalist at SiS. The role is an important part of creating conditions for SiS to establish a more equitable and effective working method throughout the organization.

As an HR Generalist, you and your colleague support the institution's managers and help create conditions for them to fully focus on what they do best: being present leaders. In this role, you will work operationally, independently, and broadly across the entire HR area, which includes recruitment, systematic work environment management, rehabilitation, competence development, labor law such as terms and agreements, and union negotiations. You will collaborate with various professional groups within the institution, within the authority, and also with external actors such as occupational health services. You have experience working in parallel processes and with different HR systems. We use Primula and Reachmee, to name a few systems.

As a new employee at SiS, you will undergo SiS basic training.

Qualifications

To perform the job effectively, we see the following requirements:

  • Academic degree in HR or in another field that SiS assesses as equivalent.
  • Several years of experience in broad operational HR work.
  • Good knowledge and current experience in labor law advice.
  • Experience working with competency-based recruitment.
  • Experience providing support to managers in all relevant HR issues.
  • Good knowledge of work environment legislation, systematic work environment management, rehabilitation, and experience working with these processes.

Meritorious:

  • Knowledge of public labor law
  • Experience working within a government authority

We place great emphasis on personal qualities, and to thrive in the role, we see that you have several years of experience in broad HR work, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and feel confident working independently in HR processes. You should also enjoy collaborating with various professional roles and have a working style that builds trust with those you meet based on your profession. You have a strong interest in handling the full range of HR issues and have the ability to plan, structure, and prioritize tasks. It is also important that you have good pedagogical skills and communicate clearly based on the target audience.

At SiS, we care about good employee engagement. This means that you, as an employee, take responsibility for your work, contribute to development, and participate in good collaboration. Read more about our employee engagement.

Employment:

The position is a permanent full-time position and starts with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.

Application:

Welcome to register your application in our recruitment tool by March 8. Interviews will be held continuously. Tests may occur in the recruitment process.

SiS actively works against all forms of discrimination and welcomes all applicants.

For work at our institutions, SiS conducts background checks before employment.

In preparation for the recruitment process, the Swedish National Board of Institutional Care has made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing. Therefore, we firmly request not to be contacted by media sellers, recruitment sites, and similar.
