About the job

You will work with tasks related to the coupon tax area or employer contributions concerning foreign companies in Sweden.

Coupon tax primarily involves investigations regarding refunds of coupon tax. Coupon tax is levied on dividends on shares/units in Swedish limited companies as well as Swedish mutual funds and special funds. Taxable persons for coupon tax are foreign shareholders who are entitled to dividends.

Working with employer contributions means reviewing and controlling submitted employer declarations from foreign companies. The control involves determining tax liability and ensuring that employer contributions and tax deductions are reported and paid correctly according to Swedish legislation and EU regulations.

Your work will include seeking and providing information as well as investigating and deciding on various tax matters. The job involves both internal and external contacts, such as with companies, other authorities, banks, representatives, and consulting firms.

You will plan your own workday and drive your cases both independently and in collaboration with others. You work closely with your colleagues and support each other. The work is qualified, and you will gain new knowledge both broadly and deeply. You have flexible working hours, and it is a given for us that you should have a balance between work and leisure.

You belong to the personal taxation section 6 or 12 at the personal taxation unit 6 in the Personal Taxation Department, located in Sundbyberg. In section 6, we are 14 colleagues, and in section 12, we are 17 colleagues.

You should also have:

• a university degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in economics or law.

It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in administrative tasks from an authority, auditing firm, bank, or similar organization. It is also desirable that you have experience in international taxation.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a hiring decision. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
